Im wanting a paint job for my dodge stratus i was wondering how much do they normally run for anything under $1,500? Also want color should i get from my car its a white dodge stratus with tinted windows. Also what color rims go good with different paint jobs? thanks
Answer:
Depends, I got my Ranchero done for $600 at Macco. $1,600 for my Mustang with a whole lot of body prep at Macco.
I would not recommend changing colors since the paint job normally won't include door jambs, trunks, etc. Doing some prep work yourself will help.
Before you take it in, give your car a good wash with amonia and water. It'll keep the paint from peeling where the paint shop didn't do quite so good of a job prepping.
Answer:
1500 to 3000 for a total paint job at a good shop
if you pay less, you get less
chrome goes with everything
Answer:
In a paint shop your looking at probably $4000 or more, around here anyway.. I'll do it for $2000 but I don't know were you live…
Answer:
Depends on the color and if you want a solid color or not. Some paint shops are really really cheap. My friend got his 98 Acura Integra painted all white for 900 dollars with warranty. I don't know what state or city you live, but down here in Houston you can find some really good prices if you shop around.
Answer:
Paint prices can vary a lot depending on what you want. You caould get a cheapy paint job from maaco for $500 or you could spend more than $10,000 on a custom job.
Answer:
I got one done for $500 about two years ago. it is not perfect but it still looks good and there are no chips in it. If your getting one for over 2,000 you are either paying too much or are painting the rarest car there is.
