How much gas mileage does a Dodge 1500 88-94 also get I am

basically looking for the best regular sized truck to get from the years 88-94 that is also the cheaps and also extra cabs I am not asking the gas mileage of regular cabs

Answer:
Bottom line - they're full sized trucks, they're all going to get terrible mileage, unless they're diesels.

The Chevy will probably be 1-2 mpg better than a Dodge or Ford with comparable sized engine, but that's not enough to matter when buying a used truck, buy on condition, mileage, history, value. Big repair bills will hit your wallet harder than a little higher fuel consumption will.

The most efficient drivetrain will be a RWD (not 4WD) six cylinder, even better with a manual transmission.

Get a carfax report and have a mechanic look it over, you're talking old trucks here.

Find pricing info at edmunds.com, or kbb.com, nada.com.

Good luck
