I've got a 2000 Impreza L and I really want to increase the performance and horsepower of it but I'm really clueless about how to do it. Oh, and I'm working with a college budget so cheap upgrades are the ideal, but I still want to hear all your recommendations even if they are high-priced. Thanks!

Exhaust System
Performance Chip
Underdrive Pulley
Cheapest upgrades for handling and traction:
Strut Bar
Sway Bars
Lowering Springs-no more than 1 inch lowering.
Performance tires.
