I’ve a pretty nice 1980 2 door cutlass hard top, I was thinking of doing t-tops on it to really add something to it. anybody know anything about doing this? any input is good! let me hear what you think or what you know….

First off, Nice Car, I’m familiar with that body style. Now on to your question, Yes you can put T-Tops on your car, but, you’ll have to add frame rails to your car to keep the body stable on hard accelerations. Send me some photos if you do it. Good luck.

The ideal thing that I can tell you is to get it done professionally because if you try to do it yourself you mite make it look bad and not be happy with your automobile anymore so spend the money and get it done right .Superior to be safe then sorry.

Cutting out the top of the automobile for tops will weaken it some.
