I have a 1.9 Diesel Peugeot 309 and for some reason it keeps slicing out either on the motorway, or as im slowing down as I come off one. All it does is cut out displaying the STOP and the battery light, but it will begin up again straight away. All the wires seem OK, my Father thinks it could be the Diesel filter.

Any ideas, or anybody whos experienced a similar problem?

Answer:
try changing the fuel filter and check the fuel lines and unions to make sure they're not sucking in air somewhere. If your gonna change the fuel filter change the air filter at the same time if it's really dirty

Answer:
