You could be the primary driver on the 944 and then have him on your vehicle or some lesser car. Normally they rate the primary on the car for the rate and then others can drive the vehicle, just not as the primary. Who is going to know…

Answer:
Any insurance should take care of it.

Get quotes from Geico, AllState, StateFarm, and other insurance companies.

It is a classic automobile but they will still insure it.

However, he can’t own the vehicle or finance it until he’s 18. And to finance, he needs 3 lines of credit with a good credit history. 3 lined of credit is like 3 credit cards.

Answer:
Not likely for a 17 year old. I had one when I was 26 and it still cost over $2500 per year and thats with a good driving record.

A 944 turbo was in the list of the top 10 “Fastest” production cars in the world while it was in production.

Answer:
Perhaps there’s a good reason insurance companies wont insure him, such as the high probability of accidents or deaths ? You may have the most responsible son in the world, but most teenagers have no business driving a vehicle like that. And most parents know it.

Answer:
Try this one - http://carquotes.sinfree.net - I personally have their vehicle insurance.

As I know they have lowest rates for teens and first time drivers.

First time drivers usually have much higher rates than others. And it depends from automobile. Porsche is very costly to insure for a young driver.

Answer:
Most insurers won’t cover such a young driver in such an high-priced and powerful automobile. Those that’ll will almost certainly charge you an excessively high price to do so. you should try the more massive more reputable firms first like All-State and Mercury.

Answer:
Adopt me please.

The only way I know of is to create a business corporation and make the 944 a company automobile and hire your son. and get a good life insurance policy on him too

Answer:
its to powerful and most insurers wont insure your son because of the power of the car. give it a go and see if it works out.

good luck

Answer:
They shouldn't restrict him for insurance. 944 Turbos are fast, but not overly so. Calling Progressive is the only advice I have the ability to give you.

Answer:
It would be very hard in doing so, the insurance companies would reject him.
