i just purchased a porsche cayman and i want to know what kind of performance parts i can buy. like what muffler or exhaust tip etc. so what should i buy and how much horse power would each give me?
Answer:
nothing
Answer:
Tuning companies for Porsche are RUF, Strosek, TechArt, Sportec, Imola, Gemballa, 9ff, etc.
They made there own version of the Cayman using there exhaust and intake systems and ECU's.
All added at least 100HP.
Exhaust systems 10-15HP
Intake 5-15HP
ECU performance chip 5-45HP
Headers 20HP
Turbo Kit at least 100HP.
Intercooler 10-25HP
Answer:
Everything you add will give you 5% to 15% more horsepower. The more you add, the less hp you get from each item. Just add a supercharger - about $5000. It will increase your horsepower by about 50%. If you’ve the 245 hp model - you’ll get about 370 hp with a supercharger. You won't have to add anything else.
Answer:
If I were you, I'd just do the basics: exhaust (exhaust tip doesn't add HP), ECU reflash, and maybe an underdrive pulley set. You might gain around 10-15 hp tops, but it will sound superior with a nice exhaust.
Answer:
Just remember speed parts will void the warranty. Any speed shop can help you with the choices available.
Answer:
if you plan to drive fast then you’ve to plan to halt fast too. consider getting carbon ceramic brakes.
