I AM NOT GOING TO BUY A PORSCHE! Ok now that that's all over with… I have a class project and I need to know how good a porsche would be as a family vehicle. I would like to say that I really am against it as a family vehicle but my partner couldn't care less. Go ahead kittens… answer like the wind!

The 911 has small rear seats and the so does the 944 the 924 the 968 and the 928.
Bu the only one with four doors though is the Cayenne SUV and the upcoming PanAmerican four door sportcoupe.

For all practical uses, the only current Porsche with 4 or more seats is the Cayenne SUV. In about a year or two, the Panamera will (fingers crossed) debut, but the launch date seems to continually get pushed back. Also, 911s are listed as 4 seaters, but trust me, the back two are not meant for people-pets perhaps, but definitely not people. The 911 GT3, GT3 RS, and GT2 are exceptions to this rule, as they’re two-seaters. The Boxter and Cayman are strictly 2-seaters.

Cayenne: All models can seat five people.
The 911s aren't exactly family automobiles, they back seats are little, which are meant for small children, groceries, etc. The 911 is known as a 2 2 (aside from certain models).
I don't know who gave this a thumbs down rating, if you don't like it…go to the Porsche site and check out the models yourself. While you're at it, look up the definition of a 2 2.

As a long time owner of four 911's, I have to state that the two seats in the rear are only good for small kids and maybe two adults for a speed run not to exceed 15 minutes. I did take some short trips when my kids were very young and it was OK, but getting the car seat and older children and all the baby/child support gear in and out is not fun.

All 911s (other than the GT2 and GT3) have rear seats that tiny children can fit into, but not much else.
The cayenne is a full sized SUV which seats a small army of adults. Can definitely be used as a family automobile.

They all have 4-Seats, excluding the Boxter and Cayman, in terms of practical seats, only one model. That model is the Cayenne. In the 911, they are just there for looks, unless you are under 3-Feet, and don't have legs, there’s no way you can fit back there!
