My Renault Megane Cabriolet 55 reg as a warning light on the Dash Board that says " Check Injection" and the car drives sluggishly at times, does anyone know what might cause it or better off! what can i do
Answer:
had the same problem with a laguna mk2. you will need to take it to a local garage who has diagnostic equipment to read the fault code. it could be any number of sensors. like the mass air flow sensor or glow time relay. it could also be just needing glow plugs as renault dealer told me when they fail it puts the warning light on. the reason you loose power is because when the light is on the car goes onto get home mode which reduces power to stop you damaging car. in the end renault could not determine what the fault was so got car back and the engine blew up. as i have been a vauxhall technician for a long time i replaced the engine myself but stripped old engine to see what had happened and found the reason for light being on and engine failure was the injectors had disintagrated and had scored the bores and jammed open the valves so they hit the pistons. so failing injectors could also be at fault. i now have my own diagnotics to check the min th light comes on.
