when im setting off. it takes about 3 seconds before the car goes above 3 mph, even if my foot is fully on the gas and then everytime i have to wait at a juntion it happens again! the automobile is worth £500 so i dont want to spend to much on it. ive tried to clean the plugs but i still get the problem.

always a problem trying to mend without seeing car and knowing engine type etc but here goes.
at the back of engine slightly to right of centre of engine on bulkhead at back you should see a black small unit size of packet of fags with a green plug going to it and a black pipe the pipe goes to inlet manifold on engine check the pipe is not split as this is a problem if so go to parts shop and get some windscreen washer hose and replace it
it might run a Little rough still for short while but after a good run will be back to normal
