How do I turn off the security alarm on a 2000 Saab 9-3 SE Sedan.?

I bought it used and it has no owner's manual.

Now if your siren goes off by itself, I would check your power door unlock button on the center console and make sure that it is not sticking. If it is it will set off the panic feature and will trigger the siren.

I assume that you have a remote key transponder. When the alarm goes on press the lock and then unlock button on your key fob. Now if you permanently want to disable it you can do it with a TECH 2. and it is also possible if you remove the alarm horn but then you will keep on getting message in the SID " Service Anti theft".
