The majority of the loan hasn't been paid for, but from my understanding there should be away around all of this… even if I have to sell it myself. Reason being I know models after 2001 9-3 Saab's have an almost definite sludge problem in the engine. I'd appreciate any help on this topic.

You would have to sell the automobile and pay back the loan since a preexisting condition is not a reason for a dealer to purchase back a car. What model and year is your Saab? I don’t believe that 9-3's 2003 were affected by sludge. 2001 and 2002, maybe. Regardless, before you go wasting time and money trying to sell it, definitely get your automobile checked out by a Saab specialist. It's very easy to tell if you've got sludge, and if you don't already it's very easy to prevent with the PCV update and 5k mile oil changes. Sludge doesn't just pop up over night. It takes a while so if you keep an eye on things and keep up with maintenance you’ll get many loving miles out of your Saab. It's up to you though, if you really want to give up on it no one is stopping you. Good luck and I hope you keep it!
