Anyone else given the royal runaround and lied to by Chuck in the Service Department of Romano Scion in East Syracuse, NY? I’ve repeatedly told him that I’ve been getting an Error 4 on my Pioneer Stereo on my 2005 Scion tC for 2-1/2 years and he kept telling me he didn't know what that meant. Now that it is OUT OF WARRANTY, Chuck “all of a sudden” knows what's wrong with it. He tells me that I’ll need to purchase a new stereo, that an Error 4 means that the stereo is broken. Hmm…why does he wait until it is OUT OF WARRANTY to tell me the reason why it was giving me an Error 4!!?? Avoid ROMANO SCION in East Syracuse, NY at all costs. Each time I took it to them I ended up having a NEW problem with my baby (car). I take good care of her and they just kept messing her up. They even kept her 5 days to fix her one time without giving me a loner…what a bunch of CROOKS!!!! How am I supposed to get to work for 5 days…go on holiday or something while they destroy my vehicle!!

Answer:
I would either call scion directly or send them a letter all about this. Do you’ve all the paper work that dealer gives you when they work on your automobile….and states no problem found. And like you say “all of a sudden they find something wrong”.

That’s bogus. I would tell them this would be the last scion I will ever get and also state going to get the superior business agency involved. And I can pretty much guarantee something will be done about it… I’ll be suprised if nothings does happen.

Answer:
i AGREE WITH YOU THAT YOU WERE MISTREATED. i THINK THE ROOT IS THAT sCION REPAIRS AS WELL AS SALES ARE PREDETERMINED PRICES AND SALES AND SERVICE PEOPLE GET FRUSTERATED FOR WORKING FOR FREE. THEY ARE WRONG THOUGH AS YOU ARE THE CUSTOMER.
