So I just put in a pioneer head unit, and two sets of polk db speakers. I just want to hear input on what else i should put in that would upgrade looks and/or performance.

Answer:
I'll assume you’ve the non-turbo since you didn't say WRX.

On the interior, sound deadening your doors will make those speakers you put in sound much superior. You can deaden the door directly behind the speakers for a modest improvement with the least work. They make something called a reflex pad you can install or put some sort of deadening mat. A subwoofer is also nice for picking up some of the low end notes that are typically lost in a factory Subaru sound system.

I personally am a large fan of tint, especially the metallic or hybrid ones. They keep some of the solar energy from even entering your automobile. Non-steaming car even when directly in the sun when coupled with a custom fit sunshade.

Performance-wise there’s not a whole lot you can do for the N/A motor, besides keep it in tip-top shape. If you like the sound of the exhaust, a superior flowing muffler will help out a little bit on the top end. (If you’ve a turbo, there are endless options to making horsepower, the first I would do is a full 3″ turboback. Your turbo will thank you for the decreased back pressure.)

For handling performance, sway bars are the way to go. A nice big front sway bar will make the car feel much more planted in the turns and inspire confidence. I would try to keep the sway bar sizes even (front to back) or keep the front a tiny bigger when upgrading. I have found this makes the car very nice for driving on a road course racetrack. No worries, this will NOT increase understeer when driven correctly. Solid sway bar links will also make a difference, definitely do them with a larger bar. If you have the plastic c-shaped ones, changing just the links will make the automobile feel better.

Have fun. :)

Answer:
loooks: some sort of suspension mod to improve looks and handling performance. there is a pretty large gap in between the tire and fender.

engine performance: down pipe and Exhaust system and intake to make the turbo perform better.

other exterior mods just for looks: add on body lips “factory kits look the best”

wheels and tires will help looks and performance.

anything more massive for performance depends on your pockets.

Answer:
Looks can't be helped - the Impreza is hideous. However you could always do some bolt on performance upgrades.

Answer:
Can't really help without knowing what kind of Impreza.

Answer:
The flat 4 engines sound so great with a good exhaust system.

That would be the thing to upgrade.

Answer:
just put a supercharger
