When i unlock the doors n get in the car it doesnt register and locks itself!! y??? Its supposed to lock after 30 secs if no one opens the doors but it still does it when we do open the doors! Its quite hazardous!

That's alarming, no pun intended. I would advise getting it fixed rather than just disconnecting it — check to see if it's a recall situation so the work might be free! It's a good safety feature when working properly.

This is a feature which can be disconnected via a “vag com” Go to any good motor mechanic and he will have a “computer” he can enable this and disable this. This is a saftey feature which some people use in very bad area's ( its there to cease people carjacking you/ nicking your vehicle with you in it)

Bad door actuator common problem.The sensor in it goes out and it does not “see” that you opened the door.
