in the owners manual on fuel recommendations it says that “E85″is ok to use but not to use anything with a higher alcohol content.

note having delt with this in the early 80's i found that fuel filters would clog perhaps a couple of times before the fuel system “cleaned itself out” with the alcohol mix. then everything would stay pretty good, as long as regular service was done.

I don't think so. Besides, why would you want to. You lose 30% power with E85 because it isn't as volatile as gasoline. The gas mileage goes down 20 to 30% also so money savings are nil.

please stick to manufactures gas suggestions. very critical to engine performance and prevents high-priced fixes if not complying to minimum recoms.
