I've heard of a similar problem on some Vauxhall/Opel automobiles…. something to do with the idle adjustor control valve (Air Intake Control Valve) needing cleaning with fuel system cleaner…. if that fails to solve it, then that bit needs replacing (looks like you shouldn't expect much change out of £100 if it's that).

I tried accessing the bulbs from the engine bay, and removed a black plastic cover. I was able to unplug the main power cable, but the headlamp angle adjust motors seemed to restrict further access.
Is there a set procedure for this without having to go to a dealer ?
