Depends what year, newer ones are really good, owned by Volkswagen, so quality built and parts..and look pretty good too!

I had to purchase a new one for my car it cost £90 for the key itself with the chip and then another £60 for the remote control for it - so not cheap, but I have a vauxhall. So maybe a little over £100
