On the coilpack 1 & 5 , 4 & 3, and 2 & 6 are the mating cylinders that fire in pairs, as you will see numbered on the terminals.

On a 4-cylinder it should be 1-3-4-2, number one cylinder will be the one closest to the belt driven accessories (Air-Conditioning, Power Steering, etc.)
