what are the expenses in getting a personalized license plate in California? im assuming theirs an upfront cost, its 7 letters the word i would put on it. Is their a yearly or monthly fee added? Basicly what is/are the upfront and monthly or yearly charges? Thank you.

The personalized plates run anywhere from $41-$90 initially and any where from $30-$70 each year after for re-registration.
