Is social secutiry required for drivers permit?

I dont want to go to driving school and not be able to get one. I am 15 with no social security. YES I AM SURE I DONT HAVE ONE. I came here and couldnt get one, wish i could.

they asked me for my social security when i got it in new york. not sure about other says. it's possible that they'll let you provide other documents if you dont have a social security. i think they might not give you much trouble if you provide enough information to get the enough credit to apply.
