200cc four stroke…. how hot does the exhaust pipe get, roughly? would it be lower then 500 degrees?

Answer:
No exact figure but 900 degree header paint will wrinkle right by the header flange

Think about wrap it comes in all colors and even helps instead of just something to look at

Answer:
Don't know, but I'm guessing that there's a reason you don't see painted exhaust pipes.

P.S. Why don't people ever spell “exhaust” or “brakes” correctly?

Answer:
If you drive it at or close to redline, it will be extremely hot. If you drive it more normally, it will only be very hot.

Answer:
I painted an exhaust once, a V twin because the original owner never took care of it. You'll need a real high temp paint, go to an auto store.

Answer:
A little less. It could get close to 700 at the cylinder head.

Answer:
Why don't you touch it to find out? What could it injured? It's not like your finger would explode, after all.
