my vehicle is really dirty and needs a wash badly (its a black 2003 honda)….whats the ideal way to wash it, i dont think i have any thing thats made for vehicle cleaning, can i do it with plain soap, a towel and some water???
please help me

Yes, regular soap is fine. Dish detergent is good, it cuts the greasy, oily crap that gets on vehicles really well.
You don't need a special soap. Look at the ingredients of special soaps and regular soaps. Basically the same thing.

i have a black truck and i find that gravy works really good especially when you scrub it with a pumice stone.
