We cannot fit the baby's car seat in the middle of the van…Is it okay to put her in the back of the van?

Answer:
So many are put in incorrectly….. please don't. The best thing is to go to your local fire or police department and they can SHOW you how to install and remove it properly. I do not think it is safe, legal or wise to place in the 3rd row seat of a van.

Answer:
You need to check the manufacturer's manual that came with your van to know for sure. Not all vans have the proper attachments in the back for baby car seats. Where I live we could ask at any police station. They often give lessons on proper installation of baby car seats.

Answer:
Go to nearest fire station they will install for you.

Answer:
Yes. If the seat installs well, you can put it there. There is absolutely no reason you can't as long as it is a standard vehicle seat or bench seat. You can't use jump seats (they face sideways) or vehicle seats that face the rear to install car seats.

The BEST place for the car seat is wherever it fits the best, with less than 1" of movement at the belt path in any direction.
